Come Together to Celebrate Our 20th Anniversary and
Build Hope for Vulnerable Children and Earthquake Victims
This year, we look back on the twenty wonderful and productive years that Habitat for Humanity Japan has been in operation. During that time, Habitat Japan has partnered with corporations, schools, and individuals to raise funds and awareness of the need for decent and affordable housing. Looking ahead, we remain committed to building homes, communities, and hope with the generous support of our partners.
Habitat Japan’s Facility Repair program continues to stand as a cornerstone of our domestic activities. Through this program, Habitat Japan supports facilities like children's homes and shelters for single mothers by helping to address necessary repairs and improvements. This year's gala aims to raise funds to build a multi-purpose room for children at the Bott Memorial Home. The room will be used for woodwork, arts and crafts, and other skill development classes, as well as various events and activities that will include the local community.
Throughout Habitat Japan's history, we have offered support in the wake of national disasters, including the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. As a result of the January 1st Noto Peninsula earthquake, there is a dire need for domestic disaster relief once again. In response, this year's gala also aims to raise funds to continue Habitat Japan's ongoing relief efforts in the Monzen-machi district of Wajima-city, Ishikawa prefecture.
We invite you to attend our Charity Gala 2024 and join Habitat Japan in building hope for those in need.
