Join Habitat as a youth

Habitat for Humanity Japan nurtures young leaders of today and for the future through our Youth Program. Our campus chapters are groups of students who are passionate about helping people build better lives for themselves, and are ready to take the next step to lead the charge at their school to help fulfill Habitat’s mission.

Functions of Habitat Japan campus chapters

Volunteering

Campus chapters join Habitat’s Global Village
program to build decent homes in Asia and they also serve local communities through home improvement and community engagement.

Advocating

Campus chapters advocate for adequate housing because Habitat alone will not be able to achieve its vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. They organize advocacy events and take advantages of SNSs to spread their messages.

Fundraising

Campus chapters raise funds to support the work of Habitat for Humanity. In Japan they often raise funds for their Global Village trips and Habitat’s local disaster response efforts.

Networking

Campus chapters brings people together to make a greater impact for those in need of decent shelters. Chapters and chapters, chapters and local communities, they seek the way to connect with people to serve locally and globally.
