Form a GV team

The process

STEP1

Read and thoroughly understand the GV orientation handbook and team leader manual (both currently in Japanese only)

STEP2

Select a team leader from among team members. Note: The team leader must be aged 20 years or older and preferably a college Junior or above. Read about our requirements for participation here.

STEP3

Form a team of at least 12 members. The team leader must undergo essential training before departure.

STEP4

Decide where the team will build based on the list of hosting countries and available slots.

STEP5

Email us at gv@habitatjp.org to confirm details of your GV trip and receive a signup link.

After completing the signup process, lock in your slot by wiring your GV slot reservation fee via bank transfer.

STEP6

Start preparing for the trip once the destination is confirmed. Refer to the progress management chart.

STEP7

Depart and build!

STEP8

Return home. After participating, each team must submit a GV report. Teams are encouraged to organize awareness-raising sessions on their university campus or in their local community.
