MBA, with a certificate in nonprofit management, from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.
Volunteered for the Olympic Organizing Committee in Seoul, Korea. Various management and executive roles at Walt Disney Co., Circuit City Stores Inc., Musicland (now Best Buy Inc) etc.
Decides to leave the business world and commit to nonprofit work in 2003, and elected chief executive officer by the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity International in August 2005.
