At Habitat for Humanity Japan, our priority is always the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, partners and the people we serve.

As we face these unprecedented circumstances due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Habitat for Humanity has suspended our Global Village program, which mobilizes volunteers to help build homes for those in need across the Asia Pacific region and around the world. Habitat Japan has also suspended our domestic programming- Project Homeworks, which improves the living conditions of vulnerable households in Tokyo, as well as our in person Campus Chapter youth activities.

Following government guidelines, the Habitat Japan team is working from home. We appreciate your understanding if there is any delay in responding. We look forward to resuming our Global Village builds, Project Homeworks and in person Campus Chapter youth activities as soon as we are safely able.
Thank you for your continued dedication to Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Sincerely,

Habitat for Humanity Japan
