Habitat for Humanity Japan (HFH Japan) is working with student led organizations called "Campus Chapters (CCs)" who raise fund and awareness and serve as volunteers in Japan and overseas. Last year, HFH Japan invited CCs to participate in its first GV (GV: Global Village Program) Movie Competition. Seven CCs entered the competition and the documentary film by WHABITAT from Waseda University won the award! WHABITAT became HFH Japan's CC in 2008 and since then they have been sending many teams to overseas building sites through GV program.
The award winning movie with final editing is named the HFH Japan's official GV movie and now available on YouTube. In this documentary about the 2013 GV trip, you can see how homes are built and hear stories of volunteers and home partners whom WHABITAT members met in the Philippines.
