As we reported earlier, we plan to build 82 houses within 1 week in Chiang Mai, Thailand where the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project 2009 (JRCWP09) is taking place in November. Last month, we did a Test Build to evaluate if there is no problem about design and strength of the architectures.
Now, considering the issues we found through the previous test build, its 2nd round is taking place from 21st to 25th of September. This time, the test is to see not only technical sides of the house-building, but also how to build 82 houses with available number of volunteers and the project schedule.
Volunteers from all over the world are joining this Test Build. Behind the success of the project are supports from many people hoping "a world where everyone has a decent place to live."
