【What's TWP?】
Habitat for Humanity Japan (HFHJ)'s Travelers with a Purpose (TWP) is a forum for people interested in travel and making a difference in the world to meet, socialize, and learn from each other. Each meeting focuses on a different theme related to travel, housing, and volunteerism. Meetings also provide opportunities for attendees to learn about upcoming HFHJ global house-building trips. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month and is open to everyone.

【Report on Dozo Restoration in Wajima】
Last TWP of 2008 was held on Dec 2 at Ben's Cafe, Takadanobaba, and Kristi gave a wonderful presentation about her unforgettable experience in Wajima.
UT Habitat; Tokyo University students group for Habitat for Humanity had led a team for restoring Dozo (Japanese traditional storage, made of mud and sand) with Wajima Dozo Restoration Committee in Wajima, Ishikawa prefecture.
*Previous Wajima Dozo Restoration activity can be seen on the web site, please visit our activity report.
One of the participants, Kristi joined the project on Nov 22 and 23, and introduced 10 reasons why you should join Dozo restoring trip.
Although our activity in Wajima might not big, it seemed participants discovered new horizons. Moreover, "enjoyable and happiness to work and learn" is the biggest reason.
