On 4 and 5 October, Habitat for Humanity Japan participated in Global Festa 2014, an annual festival celebrating international cooperation.
At the Global Festa, taking place at Hibiya Park, a scenic park in the heart of Tokyo, visitors enjoyed visiting NGO booths, eating exotic foods from around the world, and strolling the park.
This year, Habitat Japan welcomed visitors with a photobooth. With a map of the world as background, many people struck a pose, wearing Habitat helmets and holding props. Along with the photobooth, students from Campus Chapters set up an exhibition introducing their latest GV trip to India. Many of them came out to help spread the word about the importance of housing and their experience building a house with those in need.
Smiles, laughter and flashes filled the booth and new and old friendships flourished at this year's Habitat booth. Thank you for dropping by to show support!
