Join Japan Hope Builders 2010 Spring!

Collaboration with Globe-Trotter travel books (Chikyu no arukikata) and STA Travel, Habitat for Humanity's building vacation to overseas "Global Village Program" is made easier to join than ever. Together, we have created Japan Hope Builders and now you can join teams traveling to Thailand this summer!

===CHECK POINTS===
☆ You don't only "visit" but actually get to "join" the projects.
☆ Volunteers and the local homeowners-to-be work together side by side.
☆ Visit the local schools and orphanage to meet the children.
☆ Make friends with fellow volunteers from all over Japan.
☆ Learn the culture through meeting the locals, cultural activities and sight seeing.

Trip Dates
Japan Hope Builders 1: Feburary 23rd - March 2nd, 2010 (8 days)
Japan Hope Builders 2: March 9th - 16th, 2010 (8 days)
* Both teams join construction for approximately 5 days.

Participation Fee
JPY 189,000

Disclaimer
■ Airlines used (TBD): Singapore Airlines, Thai Airlines, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airlines
■ Hotels used (TBD): Bangkok Chada Hotel, HI Sukunvit, Suk 11 Hostel
■ Costs included in the fee: air fare (round trip), transportations and sightseeing fees mentioned on the itinerary, accommodation (2-3 person/room), local staff fee, a tour conductor fee, meals (6 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 2 dinners).
■ Oil surcharge (approximately 6,000 to 6,200 yen as of October 1st, 2009) will be added to the above mentioned participation fee.
■ Airport taxes are not included in the participation fee above.
■ Above mentioned participation fee is only for students participants who are 25 year old or younger. Please provide student identification at application. Additional 5,000 yen will be added for other participants.
■ Individual room rate: 18,000 yen per trip
■ Minimum team size: 8
■ All members of both teams with a Japanese tour conductor leave and arrive at Tokyo.
■ An agent from STA Travel and staff from Habitat Japan will tag along.
■ Planned by STA Travel

Orientation
Globe-Trotter (Chikyu no arukikata)'s orientation for the international volunteers is a great chance to clear all your wonders about applying for the trips. Though it is not mandate to be present at this orientation, it is highly recommended for all volunteers planning to apply to join. Reservations are required.
