Introduction to House Supporter Project
Who’s a “House Supporter”?
House supporters are those who contribute to the people in need of decent shelter in the world, through the commitment of “1 unit” as 360,000yen/month (36,000yen/year).
“Unit” signifies the parts of a house contributed. As a house consist of many units like windows, walls, and a roof, units divide the cost of one house in many people to support. One house takes 10 units to complete. HFH Japan gathers many supporters’ donation into the cost of each house construction.
Once the beneficiary family is chosen, we will provide House Supporters with the general information of the area where the family will be living. Also, the House Supporter will receive the report of the completed house and the family’s condition from the partner country. Within a year from the HSP sign-up, the donated house will complete* and you can expect to feel the difference your contribution made through Habitat for Humanity.

８０％ Construction + Community Development (Includes the administration costs of the partner office.)
２０％ Administration costs of HFH Japan (Includes the supporter reception.)
☆Supporter benefits.
At the sign-up:
- Habitat for Humanity’s original novelty
- Subscription of HFH Japan’s reports (e.g. Newsletter)
Within a few months to half a year:
- Notification of the country, area and the family that you will be supporting.
Half a year to 1 year after the sign-up:
- House completion certificate, photo and report of the family, and a unique gift from the beneficiary country.
