\"HISxHabitat_japanhopebuilders<\/a>Habitat Japan's Global Village (GV) Program for individual participants will be held in this August in Cambodia ! This program is co-held with the travel agency H.I.S, and work site will be in Battambang, Cambodia. You will also visit Angkor Wat at the last day of this program!

\nBattambang is the second largest city in Cambodia and it is located about three hours by car from Siem Reap which is famous for Angkor Wat. They are facing the problem that many people settle in the government land illegally as there is not enough decent place to live. In cooperation with the Cambodian government, Habitat supports the partition maintenance and securing land ownership in order to solve the slum problem.

\nBetween the works, it is planned to visit world heritage temples and landmine museum that shows the damages left by the war. Great combination of Volunteering and Sightseeing is the signature of Habitat's GV trip. Come and Join us !
