Due to its arrival time being late, please only join if you are able to volunteer on both days.)<br \/>\n\u3000<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6Activities:<\/strong> Construction of storage cabinets for temporary housing.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6Travelling to\/from Ofunato<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Direct by Kesen Liner<br \/>\n[Going] Depart Ikebukuro station 23:00, Arrive Sunlia 07:07<br \/>\n[Returning] Depart Sunlia 21:20, Arrive Ikebukuro station 05:39<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/5931bus.com\/kosoku\/tono-kesen.html\">The Kesen Liner bus route (in Japanese)<\/a> is a direct service between Ikebukuro,Tokyo and the Sunlia shopping centre, Ofunato.<br \/>\n2. Via Morioka<br \/>\n[Going] Depart Morioka station 07:10, Arrive Sunlia 10:07<br \/>\n[Returning] Depart Sunlia 16:23, Arrive Morioka station 19:20<br \/>\n\u203b The routes and times of bus services may change. Please ensure that you check travel details yourself in advance.<br \/>\nTravel overnight to Morioka by either bus or Shinkansen, then take the highway bus to the Sunlia shopping center bus stop. Kesen Liner:<br \/>\nMeet at 07:10 on the first day, then dismissal on the last day at 21:15 both in front of the Sunlia shopping center bus stop.<br \/>\n2. Via Morioka:<br \/>\nMeet at 10:10, then dismissal on the last day at 16:20 both in front of the Sunlia shopping center bus stop.<br \/>\n\u203b In principle please use the direct Kesen Liner service; if there are no seats available, the times change or there is some other barrier you can then switch to the Morioka route.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6 Participation Fee: <\/strong><br \/>\n3,000 yen per person<br \/>\n\u203b Habitat Japan will arrange volunteer health insurance, onsite transport, accommodation and workday lunches.<br \/>\n\u203b All additional costs (transport to and from the meeting place, morning and evening meals, bath tickets etc) must be covered by the volunteer themselves.<br \/>\n\u203b One day participants must still pay the full volunteer fee. \u3000\u3000<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6 Accommodation: <\/strong>Temporary shelter complex<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6 Volunteers needed: <\/strong>20<br \/>\n\u203b Volunteers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.<br \/>\n\u203b Recruitment will be closed if and when the target is met.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c6 Minimum participants: <\/strong>8<br \/>\n\u203b Please understand that if the minimum participants level is not reached within one week of the start date, the program will be cancelled with notification.\u3000\u3000<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c7Things to Bring\u25c7<\/strong><br \/>\nWork clothes:<br \/>\n- Long sleeved top, long sleeved trousers<br \/>\n- Waterproof clothing (top and bottom)<br \/>\n- Sneakers or work boots suitable for construction work (sandals and other open toed shoes are not suitable)<br \/>\n- Work leather gloves (as there is a good chance of dealing with wet materials, Japanese gunte fabric gloves are not suitable).<br \/>\nOther:<br \/>\n- Spare clothes<br \/>\n- Sleeping bag<br \/>\n- Wet tissues and\/or alcohol spray (it may not be possible to wash your hands at lunchtime)<br \/>\n- Towel (for bathing and\/or mopping your brow during work)<br \/>\n- Water bottle (carry drinking water to the work site)<br \/>\n- Shampoo, soap etc<br \/>\n- Health insurance card (these will not be checked, but please carry it anyway)<br \/>\n- Orientation handbook<br \/>\n- Any other essential personal items<br \/>\n\u25c7Health and Welfare\u25c7<br \/>\nHabitat Japan  is not qualified to offer medical advice, or to provide advice on medication or vaccinations. With this in mind, please ensure that you consult your doctor well in advance regarding any concerns you may have regarding participation in this program.
