\n\"onagawa_3rdfutondistribution_20111104.jpg\"<\/a>It was Onagawa Miyagi Prefecture where the last temporary housing complexes were constructed at a public baseball field. It is also where Habitat Japan distributed futon sets to the families living in 2-story complex in October, and in addition, we finished another distribution of 278 futon sets to 144 households at newly built 3-story complex on November 4. Early morning until the sun set, 20 Campus Chapter members worked hard to carefully distribute set by set to each apartment.
\n\"Since I evacuated, I have been sleeping on tatami mat with just one blanket I received as emergency aid. I am very excited to sleep on a new and complete set of futon.\" said an interviewee who just moved into this temporary housing complex from evacuating at Onagawa Youth Center.
\nHabitat Japan is continuously working with the affected families by providing help and supporting to their urgent needs.
