Donate to Help Japan Rebuild!<\/a>

\nAs a part of Habitat Japan's Youth Program, Campus Chapters (CC) across Japan have been organizing fundraisers to support \"Rebuilding Japan\" program, led by Kansai JCC (Japan Campus Chapters).
\nJCC members were on the street corners fundraising already twice on July 9 - 10 and Oct 15-16. With a slogan \"Power from Kansai to Tohoku,\" total of 500 students from Shizuoka Prefecture in the east and to Oita Prefecture in the west joined the drive to raise 1.55 million yen.

\nSome were distressed and at a loss watching cities washed away on TV, and others actually visited the disaster area as volunteers. After many discussions and questioning themselves \"What can we do as Habitat's JCC? Is there anything we can start at Kansai?,\" they finally decided on the nationwide fundraising drive.
\n\u3000
\nRyota Ezaki from Uegahara Habitat, a sophomore at Kwansei Gakuin University said \"We have to make a strong call for more supports to Tohoku, and to keep people from forgetting about the disaster as it seem to be fading away more and more these days.\"
\nHabitat Japan is continuously working with the affected families by providing help and supporting to their urgent needs.
