(We will depart around 10:00 P.M. after the orientation)<br \/>\n\u25c6Return: Arrive at Tokyo around 5:00 A.M. (Dismissed at Shinjuku station west exit)<br \/>\n\u25c6Accommodation: To be announced.<br \/>\n* Participants will be informed of the accommodation once it is confirmed.<br \/>\n\u25c6Number of volunteers: 20 (minimum of 10)<br \/>\n* First come, first served.<br \/>\n* Application will be accepted until 2 days prior to the departure or until we reach the maximum number of participants.<br \/>\n* We do not accept group participants for these schedules.<br \/>\n\u25c6Participation fee: General 15,000yen\/person, Students 7,500yen\/person (Tax included)<br \/>\n* Participation fee includes round trip transportation fee (Tokyo\u21d4Ofunato) and volunteer insurance fee.<br \/>\n* Accommodation and meals are provided (3 meals\/day).<br \/>\n* Students are those who are attending a school full time and under the age of 25. Please present your student ID along with the other required documents.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c7Qualifications\u25c7<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25c6Experience: Participants are not required to have construction skills or prior disaster relief experience, but they must be physically and mentally healthy.<br \/>\n\u25c6Age: 18 or older (at the date of departure)<br \/>\n*Those who are aged 18 and 19 are required to be accompanied by an adult aged 25 or older. Please spefciry the names of paring youth(s) and the chaperone in the e-mail body upon application.<br \/>\n\u25c6Language skills: Must be able to fluently communicate throughout the participation in Japanese.<br \/>\n* Those who are not able to communicate in Japanese can participate if accompanied by a person who can help with Japanese-English translation.<br \/>\n\u25c6Country of origin: Japanese or foreign nationals living in Japan<br \/>\n\u25c6Other requirements:<br \/>\n1. Understand and respect Habitat's vision of realizing \"the world where everyone has a decent place to live\"<br \/>\n2. Flexibility to respond to the needs of the disaster area, which change every minute. Understand that volunteers' expectations may not be fulfilled depending on the conditions of the site.<br \/>\n3. Be a self-starter and take the lead. Make necessary preparations on your own.<br \/>\n4. Agree with and sign the applicable waiver (Volunteer Program Release and Waiver of Liability); <a href=\"http:\/\/www.habitatjp.org\/jpblog\/HFHJ-AHV%20waiver.pdf\">adult<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.habitatjp.org\/jpblog\/HFHJ-AHV_Waiver_Minor.pdf\">minor<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c7Packing List\u25c7<\/strong><br \/>\n- Antidust mask, work glove, rubber glove (to be worn over work glove), antidust glasses, safety boots (Closed-toe trail\/work boots and\/or rubber boots with metal insole)<br \/>\n- Work clothes (waterproof, long-sleeved) for the number of working days<br \/>\n- Hat (required for outside work in heat and under sunshine)<br \/>\n- Sleeping pad\/sleeping bag which is suitable for the local<br \/>\n- Toilet paper or water-soluble tissues (to bring to the work site)<br \/>\n- Wet tissue, hand sanitizer (to clean your hands at lunch time)<br \/>\n- Towel (Bath towel and towels to use during work)<br \/>\n- Wet weather gear (Water-proof suit recommended. Rain coat or an umbrella will not be suitable for work. Please check the local weather before departure.)<br \/>\n- Slippers (to be worn at the accommodations)<br \/>\n- Shampoo, soap, etc. for bath<br \/>\n- Drink bottle, drinking water (Tap water is available, yet please bring your own water for drinking for it may not be available for purchase.)<br \/>\n- Insurance card or copy (You do not have to submit insurance card but please carry it with you all time.)<br \/>\n- Belt bag or rucksack (to bring to the work site. Please make sure to secure your own valuables.)<br \/>\n- Anything else needed for your staying<br \/>\n* Generally, the bath facility is available at the sites. However, please understand that you may not be able to take a bath, depending on the local conditions.<br \/>\n*Please put your name on your boots since your pair may look similar to others'.<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c7Safety\u25c7<\/strong><br \/>\nHabitat Japan does not have the qualifications to advise you on your health management or on medications and\/or immunization. Since we cannot set out any medical requirements, we recommend you to talk to your doctor before departure. For information regarding health management at the disaster areas, please refer to the homepage of Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, where you can check the risks and the measures to take.<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.mhlw.go.jp\/bunya\/kenkou\/hoken-sidou\/disaster.html<br \/>\n<strong>\u25c7Cancellation Policy\u25c7<\/strong>\u3000<br \/>\n\u25c6If participants must cancel:<br \/>\nWe will not refund any part of the fee.<br \/>\n\u25c6If Habitat for Humanity Japan must cancel:<br \/>\nIn case that the activities at the disaster areas become difficult due to the local conditions, we will refund the fee in full amount.
