HFH Japan had been working to build a volunteer dispatch system for domestic disaster response. We are planning to use this unfortunate incident as our domestic volunteer system's first mission.<br \/>\nIn order to begin the actual recovery efforts, one HFH Japan staff member will be sent to the disaster area to assess the needs and the possibility of using Habitat's expertise in housing to play a role in helping with the recovery. News and updates will be posted on this page.<br \/>\nAt the same time, we are raising funds to help make this effort a success.
