This effort was strongly supported by Carrier, whose members in Japan have been continuously involved since the early stages of the project. A total of 28 employees participated, marking their fourth volunteer activity.<\/p>\n<p>On the day, teams carried out three tasks. The first was the installation of a stage. Wooden-grain stone tiles were carefully laid one by one in the remaining space, with mortar filling the gaps. In this way, a 10-meter-long, 5-meter-wide \u201cForest Stage\u201d was completed.<\/p>\n<p><span><div class=\"c-photo\">\n<ul class=\"c-photo-body c-photo-body--row3\">\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-66-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-35-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/After-3-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Second, volunteers helped with slope greening. Stakes were driven into the embankment, wooden panels were firmly fixed with screws, and flower seeds were planted on the slope. Though physically demanding, the work was steadily advanced with teamwork and encouragement, transforming the area into a safe and beautiful space.<\/p>\n<p><span><div class=\"c-photo\">\n<ul class=\"c-photo-body c-photo-body--row3\">\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-68-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-79-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/After-1-1-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Finally, finishing work was done on the log benches installed on the slope. To ensure long-term safe use, the logs required three coats of preservative. Despite the uneven footing on the slope, all tasks were completed on schedule thanks to the cooperation of the volunteers.<\/p>\n<p><span><div class=\"c-photo\">\n<ul class=\"c-photo-body c-photo-body--row3\">\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-56-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251122-57-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"c-photo-item\">\n<p class=\"c-photo-item__img\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/habitatjp.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/After-2-468x336.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cParticipating in volunteer activities here together gives us a great opportunity to strengthen team bonds. Each visit reveals a new landscape on the hillside, making every experience unique and something I truly look forward to,\u201d said Mr. Kubo, President of Carrier Japan, who has joined all four initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>With Phase II now complete, Kodomo no Sono will begin Phase III next year, focusing on the installation of playground equipment. Toward the project\u2019s completion, we sincerely ask for continued support and new cooperation.
