Support Habitat's Efforts to Build Hope
for Vulnerable Children in Japan and Indonesia
Habitat Japan has expanded its domestic initiatives during the pandemic to serve vulnerable populations. Many orphanages, shelters for mothers and children, and other welfare facilities are in need of repair and lack government funding. Our facility repair program aims to improve such premises so residents can live in a safer, cleaner and more secure environment.
Habitat Japan has also long-supported Indonesian villages in great need better housing. In some areas, high rates of impaired child growth and development have been experienced, only to be exacerbated by the pandemic. Habitat plans to provide medical clinic within a multi-purpose community center to improve the health of children and pregnant women in Tuksono village, Yogyakarta.
The Charity Gala 2022 is raising funds for Habitat’s programs to improve the health and safety of children in Japan and Indonesia. The donation raised for domestic cause will help us to repair the playground for “Wakabaryo” orphanage in Tokyo. Your support will allow us to serve more of those in need. We hope you will join our charity gala to provide the vulnerable with safer and more decent places to live.
