Time Out Tokyo reports Habitat's work in Tohoku
In its summer 2014 Issue, Time Out Tokyo covered Habitat Japan's work in Tohoku.
Under the title "Get Your Hands Dirty," the article stated that "as a volunteer for one of the charity organisations who continue to help those in need after March 2011's earthquake and tsunami, you can make a real difference, whether you're toiling soil or building homes."
The article introduced the readers to Habitat for Humanity Japan as one of the "grassroots organisations that welcome[s] volunteers" in Tohoku. The scenes from the Self-Build Project were also recounted ("Most recently, volunteers from around the world gathered in Ofunato every weekend from October to May to biuld a new home for a local man").
